OSKARS M-100 Buffing and Polishing Compound
OSKARS M-100 BUFFING and POLISHING COMPOUND - the one-product system for super high gloss finish - was developed for fine grinding, polishing and paint care. It is especially designed for the preparation and care of polyester moulds, epoxy resin moulds and epoxy resin surfaces as well as CFRP preparation / CFRP care and FRP preparation / FRP care.
OSKARS M-100 BUFFING and POLISHING COMPOUND greatly simplifies the necessary work of repairing, maintaining and preparing polyester moulds and epoxy resin moulds. It is an universal – fast-acting special mixture of extremely fine and medium-fine abrasives with an excellent polishing effect.
OSKARS M-100 BUFFING and POLISHING COMPOUND can also be used to remove grinding marks and defects in the mould. Matt or dull finished parts are given the finishing touch by OSKARS M-100 BUFFING and POLISHING COMPOUND. A well-pretreated base is requested, e.g. with OSKARS M-50 HEAVY DUTY BUFFING and POLISHING COMPOUND, to remove larger scratches. Subsequent finishing with OSKARS M-150 SUPER FINISH POLISHING COMPOUND, produces the desired high-gloss finish.

Usage
Apply OSKARS M-100 BUFFING and POLISHING COMPOUND with a special sponge on a surface of 50 x 50 cm ( 2-3 sqft) and rub in polishing until all sanding marks and scratches are removed and a smooth surface is obtained. Repeat the process if necessary.
As soon as OSKARS M-100 BUFFING and POLISHING COMPOUND dries on the surface, increase the contact pressure - in this way you will achieve a special high gloss. We recommend OSKARS lambskin POLISHING PAD type 880 A. As OSKARS M-100 BUFFING and POLISHING COMPOUND also withstand high temperatures, you can work with high contact pressure.
Recommended machine speed: 1800-2100 rpm.
IMPORTANT: CLEAN AND REMOVE RESIDUES FROM THE POLISHING PAD REGULARLY.
Prerequisite: a well pre-treated base, e.g. with OSKARS M-50 HEAV DUTY BUFFING and POLISHING COMPOUND, to remove larger scratches.
Further treatment: Refinish with OSKARS M-150 SUPER FINISH POLISHING COMPOUND creates the desired high gloss finish.
Final treatment: To remove residues and give the surface a temporary carnauba wax protection, apply OSKARS M-500 LIQUID MOULD RELEASE WAX.
