OSKARS M-400 Polishing agent – extra fine
OSKARS M-400 POLISHING AGENT - extra fine - is recommended for final mould preparation when processing CFRP composites or FRP composites to remove fine scratches as well as greasy residues. Finest polishing clay enables effective cleaning and polishing.
OSKARS M-400 POLISHING AGENT – extra fine – is recommended for the final preparation of the mould to remove fine scratches as well as greasy residues left behind from the previous treatment.
OSKARS M-400 POLISHING AGENT – extra fine – contains the finest polishing clay, which allows for gentle but effective cleaning and polishing. It can be applied by hand, but also by machine.
The prerequisite is a well pre-treated base with OSKARS M-300 GRINDING AGENT and POLISHING AGENT – fine to remove even minor scratches.
With OSKARS M-500 LIQUID MOULD RELEASE WAX, a temporary protection of the mould is achieved by sealing with pure carnauba wax. In addition, this is an ideal base for the subsequent application of OSKARS M-700 MOULD RELEASE PASTE WAX – solid or OSKARS M-710 MOULD RELEASE PASTE WAX – soft.

Usage
CAUTION: SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE.
All surfaces to be worked on must be clean and free of foreign material, as these will damage the surface if they get into the polishing pads or cloths.
OSKARS M-400 POLISHING AGENT - extra fine - spread thinly over an area of approx. 1 m² (10 sqft) with a clean, dry cloth or directly with the polishing wheel. Work with the polishing pad until all traces of sanding are removed.
As soon as OSKARS M-400 POLISHING AGENT - extra fine - dries, increase the contact pressure when polishing to produce an increased surface gloss. We recommend the OSKARS lambskin POLISHING PAD type 880 A.
Recommended machine speed: 1800 to 2100 rpm.
IMPORTANT: ONLY USE CLEAN POLISHING PADS AND CLEAN THEM REGULARLY.
Prerequisite: a well pre-treated base, e.g. with OSKARS M-300 GRINDING AGENT and POLISHING AGENT - fine, to remove even finer scratches.
Final treatment: To remove residues and give the surface a temporary carnauba wax protection, apply OSKARS M-500 LIQUID MOULD RELEASE WAX.
